Merida Speeder 400 – Black 2021
£1,100.00
Performance hybrid with sophisticated aluminium frame, full carbon tapered fork, 2 x 11 Shimano 105 drivetrain and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes.
Fast and lightweight, the Speeder shares some of its genes with road bikes.
The frame geometry of the Speeder is sporty, but with a more upright and comfortable position which is noticeably different to conventional road bikes with drop bars making it a great option for riders wanting road bike style and efficiency with added comfort.
Merida use the same triple butted 6066 series aluminium as their aluminium road bikes which is hydroformed to tune the frame for a comfortable responsive ride. The Speeder uses a full carbon fork with a tapered steerer which gives very precise steering and a smooth ride.
The upright position, flat bars and powerful hydraulic disc brakes bikes are ideal for comuting giving you greater control and field of vision when riding through traffic.
The frame can accommodate wider tyres making it more versatile – up to 35mm (32mm with mudguards).
