Merida eBig Nine 400 – Grey 2021
£3,200.00
Integrated 630Wh battery powering 85Nm Shimano Steps EP8 motor. Equipped with Shimano Deore 10 speed and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes
The geometry of the Merida eBig Nine and eBig Seven bikes follow one very simple principle: As sporty as possible, as comfortable as necessary.
You ride to work in the morning but fancy a little off road detour on the way home? No problem – that is what these bikes are made for!
Combining the best bits of a mountain bike and a trekking bike, these rugged machines can be fitted with mudguards and racks making them ideal for commuting or year round leisure riding.
The eBig Nine 400 is the cheapest Merida eBike to use Shimano’s EP8 85Nm motor and 630w battery.
Many technical features and much of the thinking that went into the award winning eOne-Sixty make an appearance to deliver a stylish and well though through hardtail.
The strong, stiff aluminium frame is a result of extensive hydroforming, precision laser cutting and CNC machining. The battery is housed low down in the downtube behind a dual compound cover which deadens noise and can be charged in the bike using a satellite charging port.
